Furniture photography is often conducted on the customer’s site (i.e. at the factory or showroom) because furniture items are normally huge and heavy. White background product shots are straightforward, while lifestyle ambient shots are more complicated and artistic. If taking the lifestyle photos is not possible on site, e.g. there is no home setting, we can also do the background mockup with Photoshop and stock photos.

Due to the bulky size, irregular structure, and sometimes glossy material surface of house furnishings, it is a labor-intensive job and requires skillful photo shoot techniques. On location photo shoot would incur extra travelling and lighting setup time, which is why we charge higher prices for furniture photography compared to product photography for smaller items.
